Christine Jacobs Obituary
Christine Ann Glover Jacobs, 80, of Leland, died on Thursday evening, January 15, 2025, at Novant-New Hanover Regional Medical Ceneter in Wilmington, NC.
Christine was born on January 16, 1945, daughter of the late Andrew Johnson Glover and Sofe Pauline Trusler Glover. She was also preceded in death by her children, Shane M. Jacobs and Liz Jacobs; siblings, Lillie Mae Lowe, and Helen Ruth Glover.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at New Hope Baptist Church in Buckhead, with burial to follow in the Red Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 1:00-1:45 p.m. prior to the service on Thursday, at the church.
Christine grew up in Elizabethton, Tennessee. She relocated to North Carolina in 1972.
Christine is survived by three children, Roy Lee Mackley (Sylvia), Margaret Jacobs, and Ronald Jacobs (Star); 16 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; siblings, Charlotte Castle, Mary Webb (Marvin), and Georgia Jacobs (Tony).
