Daphney “Jean” Stevens Obituary
Daphney “Jean” Bullock Stevens, 82, of Clarendon, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 17, 2025, at her residence.
Jean was born on December 18, 1943, daughter of the late Carl Bishop Bullock and Myrtie Mae Burroughs Bullock, and the widow of the late Roger Ardell Stevens. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, CB Bullock, Jr., Charles Bullock, and Barbara Ann Pennington.
A private graveside service will be held at Chadbourn Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at their home.
Jean retired from National Spinning, following 52 years of dedicated service.
The surviving family includes two daughters, Melissa S. Leigh of Clarendon and Saberina S. Tuton and husband, Johnny of Clarendon; grandson, Noah Tuton; great-grandson, Levi Tuton; siblings, William “Bill” Bullock and Brenda B. Tharp.
The family wishes to thank Beverly Whaley and Liberty Hospice for the loving care shown to Ms. Jean during her illness.
