County Government
Columbus County government offices will be open and operating on a regular schedule on Monday. County offices will open at 10 a.m. on Tuesday.
County recycling centers will operate on a regular schedule Saturday and Monday, weather permitting. The Mollie and China Grove recycling centers, which typically open on Tuesdays, will open at 10 a.m. on Tuesday.
Trash pickup for Monday and Tuesday is expected to occur on its regular schedule.
Columbus County court system is expected to operate on a regular schedule at the start of next week.
City and County Schoools
Currently on regular schedule for Monday.
City of Whiteville
Normal schedule. Sign up for emergency notifications via AlertWhiteville by going to whitevillenc.gov.
Lake Waccamaw, Chadbourn, Tabor City, Fair Bluff
Normal schedules at this time.
Southeastern Community College
No schedule changes.
Churches
Nakina Baptist Church will have services online only. No Sunday School
Riegelwood Baptist Church will not have any services.
Glory Tabernacle Church will not have in-person worship. Pastor Clark will go live in his personal Facebook page.
New Life Community Church will not have services.
Latter Day Saints Myrtle Beach Stake canceled services for 8 branches : Georgetown, Conway, Marion, NMB, Myrtle Beach, Shallotte, Tabor City, and YSA.
Transformation Church will not have services.
Clarendon Baptist Church services are canceled.
Lake Waccamaw Methodist Church will not have services.
Trinity Baptist Church will not have services.
New Hope Baptist Church in the Buckhead Community will not be having Service at the Church
Lake Waccamaw Presbyterian will close and have online worship
Glory Tabernacle will not have in-person service tomorrow January 25th. Pastor Clark will be bringing a Facebook Live message on his personal page at 10:30am.
Whiteville Alliance Church will not have service tomorrow however you can watch the service on YouTube.
Nakina PH Church will be closed
