Warrants have been issued for a man who allegedly gave a woman a cup of bleach “to kill sperm cells.”
The victim, a 20-year-old female, told deputies a man picked her up around 10 p.m. and took her to a residence where they had consensual sex, according to the report. He then gave her a cup of water which had an “unusual taste”. The man allegedly told the woman that the water contained diluted bleach and would “kill sperm cells and would not harm her.”
The victim’s throat was irritated while she was being taken home, the report said. She called 911 after she began vomiting at home. EMS noted that her throat was red and irritated, and transported her to Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Whiteville for treatment. The pain persisted until after 1 a.m., the report said.
After review of the investigation, Magistrate B. Batten issued a warrant for arrest on the listed charge of poisoning.
The unnamed suspect has not been located or arrested.
