Whiteville 50, West Bladen 32
DUBLIN—Asia Smith and Ceonna Dennis scored 14 points each as Whiteville rolled on to victory with a 50-32 defeat of West Bladen on Friday.
The Wolfpack (4-2, 7-10) went on a 16-5 run to expand the lead to 39-20 after only leading 23-15 at the half. The Wolfpack will host South Brunswick (5-1, 12-2) on Tuesday. Amiya McCarty had 12 points for the Knights in the loss. West Bladen (2-4, 4-13) will travel to Fairmont Tuesday night in a Southeastern Conference game.

LAKE WACCAMAW—Malia Graham turned in a strong performance as East Columbus crushed West Columbus 56-6 Friday in girls’ basketball.
Graham scored 19 points, snatched 10 rebounds, and passed out five assists as the Vikings failed to score in the first half. The clock ran continuously all of the second half after a 35-0 advantage at the break. Skylah Collins scored 11 points and Neveah Brown grabbed 10 rebounds for the Gators, now 7-1 in the Carolina Conference and 12-4 on the year. They will host Union (9-10) on Tuesday night. West Columbus (1-8, 1-14) will travel to East Bladen (6-2, 15-4) Tuesday.

TABOR CITY—Fairmont pounded South Columbus 72-6 Friday night in girls basketball. Kamiya Smith led four players in double figures with 18 points. Teammates Lyric McNair, Kaziyah McLean, and Amiya McLean scored 15, 13, and 10 respectively. The Tornadoes will host West Bladen (2-4, 4-13) in a Southeastern Conference match on Tuesday. South Columbus (1-5, 3-14) will host Red Springs (0-5,2-15) in Vinegar Hill Tuesday night.
