Early Voting Closes Above 3,000

Early voting closed at 3 p.m. today for the March 3 primary.

A total of 3,083 voters cast early ballots at the county’s five sites. Friday saw 367 voters cast a ballot, while voting slowed slightly today to 350.

The primary polls open Tuesday. Voters must go to their assigned polling places to cast a ballot. Polls are open from 6:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. All absentee ballots must be at the board of elections by 7:30 p.m.

A valid voter ID is required on Tuesday. Voters who do not wish to have an ID must fill out an exception form, and cast a provisional ballot.
