An early morning raid today resulted in the arrest of a Nakina man on felony sex charges.
Jeremy James Prashaw, 46, of Reeves Lane, Nakina, was held without bond. He faces ten counts of felony second degree exploitation of a minor and one of disclosing private images as an adult, according to court documents.
Prashaw was arrested after an investigation by the N.C. State Bureau of Investigation Crimes Against Children Unit. Warrants show that Prashaw had sexually explicit conversations with an adult investigator whom Prashaw believed to be two different adolescent females. Prashaw allegedly shared photographs of his genitals in the conversation.
Deputies and the SBI raided Prashaw’s home during the early morning hours of Wednesday (today) and took him into custody without incident.
