Here’s today’s Bottom Line:
A weak area of high pressure will bring a very nice weekend to the area. We’ll start off today with some clouds and fog but the sun will shine brightly and our highs will rise to the mid 60s.
Tonight will be crystal clear and rather cool with lows in the lower 40s… which is still 5-7 degrees above seasonal normal values (mid 30s).
Sunday will be a perfect 10 with nothing but sunshine, highs in the mid 70s… definitely get out and enjoy it.
A frontal boundary will drop south over the area early on Monday. This will be followed by a high pressure wedge which will keep relatively cloudy and much cooler weather in here for your Monday. The wedge is short-lived, however, as a return flow of southerly winds returns on Tuesday.
Well-above normal temperatures will dominate the area Wednesday through Friday of next week. Warm air will wrap around a high pressure ridge located offshore, with temps running 15-20 degrees above normal… it’s likely we’ll be at or around 80 on Thursday (though I put a 78 on the graphic).
