DUBLIN—Natalee Sykes went two for three and pounded out four runs batted in as the Knights defeated East Bladen 10-0 in softball Friday night.
Addison Wilcox was 3-3 for West Bladen with an RBI as the Knights move to 2-5 on the season. Allison Hickman struck out seven and gave up three hits in the Knights’ victory.
West Bladen will travel to South Carolina to take on Dillon (2-3) on Tuesday while East Bladen (2-3) will face North Duplin in Calypso.

WHITEVILLE—Angel Purcell went 4-5 at the plate and drove in five runs as St. Pauls defeated Whiteville 19-9 on softball on Friday night.
Whiteville jumped out to a 7-1 lead in the second inning only to have the Bulldogs rally to victory. Teammate Jersey Jacobs added four hits and three RBI’s in the win for the Bulldogs. Whiteville falls to 0-5 on the year with the loss. They will host West Bladen (2-5) on March 24. St. Pauls’ (1-4) will host Overhills (1-4) on Tuesday.

DUBLIN—Hunter Hester went three-for-four with four RBI’s at the plate to lead West Bladen past East Bladen 14-8 in baseball on Friday night.
Chase Bryan added two hits and and run batted in in the win. West Blade moves to 5-0 on the season. The Knights travel to St. Paul’s (2-3) on Tuesday. East Bladen is now 1-4 on the season. They will host North Duplin (0-1, 1-2) on Tuesday.
