Easter is just around the corner, and many churches and community organizations are announcing where your family can celebrate in Columbus County. The Town of Bolton will be hosting an Easter egg hunt at Bolton Town Park on March 28 beginning at 10 a.m. Join the hunt to unite families in the joyful Easter spirit with laughter and enjoyment.
They send a special thank you out to Columbus County Parks and Recreation for their partnership in planning this outing. The park can be found at 175 Old 211 Highway.
Hallsboro United Methodist Church will hold the Spring into Easter Celebration on Saturday, March 28. The family-friendly community event will feature an egg hunt, activities for children and their parents, food, vendors, and lots of spring time fun.

Trinity Baptist Church will have their annual Easter Son-set Celebration on April 4 beginning at 6 p.m. with a special prayer event held at sunset. The evening will include food, fun, games, music, an egg hunt, prizes, and a guest appearance by the Easter bunny. The church’s address is 201 South Thompson Street in Whiteville.
Engage Life Church will have two worship services to celebrate Jesus’s resurrection. The Good Friday service will be on April 3 beginning at 7 p.m. and on Easter Sunday, April 5, with Discipleship classes at 9:30 a.m. and worship at 10:30 with Pastor W. Craig Ray. Engage Life can be found at 386 Thompson Town Road in Whiteville.
Columbus County Parks and Recreation has announced the dates and locations for their annual Easter egg hunts. Families are invited to enjoy a morning or afternoon full of fun, laughter, and egg-citing surprises for kids ages 12 and under.
