A boil advisory has been issued for some county water customers along Peacock Road, effective today (March 4).
Contractors struck a line supplying water to customers from 3067 to 4944 Peacock Road. Repairs are underway, according to county officials.
Some discoloration pressure changes will occur while the lines are reversed and the repairs completed. Any water used for human consumption should be boiled for at least one minute.
The system is expected to be clear within 24 hours, the county said. Call 910.770.2158 to report problems and concerns.
