MULLINS, S.C.—Nathan Edwards of South Columbus struck out 18 batters in a no-hitter to lead the Stallions to a 2-0 win over Pee Dee Academy.
It was the first loss of the season for Golden Eagles, who fall to 6-1 with the loss. South Columbus (3-4) will do a rematch against Pee Dee Academy in Tabor City on Friday. Pee Dee will travel to Laurence Manning Academy (1-0) today (March 18).

- PAULS—Ashton Davis had four hits and two RBI’s to lead West Bladen past St. Pauls in baseball on Tuesday night.
Two of Davis’ hits were doubles. Chase Bryan contributed two hits and two runs batted in for the Knights in the victory. West Bladen moves to 6-1 on the season with the victory. The Knights will travel to Latta, SC (4-2) on Friday. St. Pauls (2-4) will play Village Christian Academy (5-3) in Fayetteville today (March 18).

CALYPSO—Jayce Hatcher had two hits and knocked in four runs to lead the East Bladen Eagles past North Duplin 18-6 in baseball on Tuesday night. Tyler Eason also went 5-5 at the plate for the Eagles, who moved to 1-0 in the Carolina Conference and 2-4 on the season. Noa Quintanilla had two hits and two RBI’s in the loss for the Rebels. North Duplin falls to 0-2 in the conference and 1-3 on the year with the loss. East Bladen will travel to West Columbus (3-0, 5-2) on Thursday. North Duplin will travel to Union (0-2, 0-8) today (March 18).
