A Delco man is in jail under no bond on a charge of voluntary manslaughter.
Roy Lee Brown, 70, of 540 Evergreen Rd., Delco, was booked into the county detention center just after 1 a.m. Sunday (today), according to reports.
Warrants show he is charged with the death of Gregory Glenn Simpson Jr., 43. The shooting was reported Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Brown’s home, according to the sheriff’s report.
The sheriff’s office refused to release any additional information about the case, saying that the investigation is ongoing. The incident report shows that a rifle was used in the shooting.
Another incident report shows that deputies were called to the same scene just after 2 p.m. Sunday to investigate a report of property damage. Brown was listed as the victim. A value of the damaged property was not listed.
