The driver of a pickup sustained a scratch when the rear window of his truck was shot early Sunday.
Vincent Drayton called the sheriff’s office after he said he was driving on Woodyard Road near the railroad crossing around 3:39 a.m. when someone apparently fired a shot at his vehicle. The glass was damaged and Drayton sustained a minor injury that he described as a scratch, the report said.
Drayton left the area and contacted law enforcement. He declined medical treatment, the report said. The case is under investigation.
