Here’s today’s Bottom Line:
This morning’s blog is going to be rather short and sweet, because there’s not much to talk about.
It’s going to be hot today… highs will be in the upper 80s, flirting with the 90-degree mark under virtually full, unlimited sunshine. If you’re going to be outside, stay hydrated!
A cold front will drop down across the area on Monday. This MIGHT trigger a few showers or thunderstorms in the afternoon, but honestly I’m not too excited about the prospects for that. The ECMWF deterministic model is the most “aggressive” solution, and is attached here. The other globals show very little.
Much cooler temps arrive for Tuesday with highs in the lower to middle 60s, which is a touch below normal for this time of year, but nothing too significant.
We’ll warm back up by the end of the week with zero rain chances, thereby furthering our drought conditions.
The next front is slated to cross the area on Saturday with perhaps a few showers, and then another brief cooldown.
