Here’s today’s Bottom Line:
Greetings and HAPPY EASTER!
I’m going to keep this short, sweet, and to the point on this beautiful Easter morn.
Today will feature a cold front passage, and with that comes the threat for showers and thunderstorms. There’s a low-level severe weather threat later this afternoon as some of the multicellular clusters could contain a damaging wind gust or two.
Some of the storms may produce some significant downpours as well… some MUCH-NEEDED rainfall. Some of the model projections are upwards of an inch of rain, which might not mitigate the drought but will definitely help with the fire situation.
…. and then after the frontal passage … no rainfall in sight. Another prolonged dry period will be upon us.
Temps will be considerably cooler behind the front. A secondary front drops through on Tuesday, and there definitely will be a chill in the air on Wednesday morning as temps will be around 40 degrees… only rising to the mid 60s by the afternoon.
Temps rebound back to seasonal normal values by the end of the work week.
