Well the prevailing headlines continue to be the drought and the burn conditions across the area.
And, folks, they’re just not going to improve anytime soon.
Not a drop of rain is expected now through APRIL 19th. That’s NEXT SUNDAY, yall.
See yesterday’s report for details on what it’s going to take to break the dry spell… but with each passing day it becomes a little bit worse.
I mean, the weather is going to be GORGEOUS this weekend… we’ll take it… but it’s time to start talking water conservation and the like.
Today’s going to be quite warm with our highs in the mid to upper 80s. A little weak backdoor “front” will knock our temps down a few ticks for Sunday. Humidity values will be in the 20%-30% in the afternoon.
The Bermuda High really powers into shape next week and that will boost our temps into the 90s for the middle part of the week.
Afternoon thunderstorms? Nope.
I can’t stress enough how bad (and dangerous) the drought is going to be 7 days from today.
