Here’s today’s Bottom Line:
Well there’s not an awful lot to talk about in today’s CCN Daily Weather Update. We’ll have a backdoor cold front drop from north to south over the area this afternoon. This will usher in much colder temps for late tonight into Wednesday, but temps will warm back up as we push toward the weekend.
There is zero precipitation in sight for the next 7 days. None. Nada. Zilch.
The drought … and fire conditions … will worsen. At this point it would take a significant, large-scale storm system to pull us out of the drought. And that’s not happening at any point in the near future.
A mix of clouds and sunshine for today, trending mostly cloudy, with highs around 70. Clearing tonight… temps dropping as low as 40 in some spots. Frost is not expected locally; however, some places such as Holly Shelter may experience temps into the mid 30s.
Highs on Wednesday will only be in the mid 60s, but as I mentioned we’ll be back into the 70s Thursday and Friday, 80s Saturday and Sunday.
