At Land O’ Lakes, the SFGA held its weekly tournament on May 12. The tournament was a best ball format with 27 members in the event. The team of Ken Shaw, Charles Hungerford, and Rob Conway took first with a score of 123 while the team of LR Odham, David Medlin, Chris Smith, and John Blake took second place with a score of 124. At Vineyard at White Lake, Benjamin Henderson, Mitchel Henderson, and Stephen Clark won the weekly Thundering Herd with a -4 score. Multiple players participated in the event, which takes place every Thursday at 6 p.m. Call 910.247.6132 for more info about the Thundering Herd. The 10th Annual Rotary Tournament took place on March 15 with the team of Rocky Boussais, Derrick Davis, Billy Coe, and Frank Zolnowskie winning the Captain’s Choice with a score of 55.
