Whiteville Stays Alive in Tennis Playoffs

Whiteville continues 3A tennis action today (Tuesday) in the team playoffs. The Wolfpack will travel to Providence Grove in the third round of the NCHSAA playoffs.

The Wolfpack defeated Louisburg Magnet 5-4 in the second round of the 3A playoffs after receiving a first round bye. Whiteville is now 9-4 on the year.

South Columbus lost to perennial power Greene Central 6-0 on Friday. The Stallions season ended at 3-9.

Creek Wyatt, the #3 seed in individuals 3A tennis, will continue play for Whiteville in the third round of singles playoffs in Durham.
