Tabor Talk for July 15

By Cynthia Nelson

Greater Tabor City Chamber

We had such a memorable Fourth of July and 250th Fireworks Celebration!  Thank you to everyone in our area that joined us at South Columbus High School for the 39th annual celebration.  While the numbers inside the gate were perhaps down by a few, there was a record number of onlookers parked along the roadsides to take in the colorful display of pyrotechnics.  After all, our nation is only 250 years old once, right?

A special word of appreciation to our veterans. Thank you for coming out and allowing us the privilege of honoring you for your service.  You are why we continue to celebrate the freedom of being an American.

Our annual ad celebrating the 4th and 250 years of freedom was a little different for the momentous occasion.  Sponsors names were listed in this column on July 1 instead of in the ad.  To balance that out, we are listing our sponsors one more time this week.  It’s the least we can do as a huge way to say thank you for being responsible for the greatest display of fireworks we may have possibly ever had.  We are still receiving calls and messages of excited gratitude.

Below is the list of 2026 sponsors.  Please share with these businesses, organizations, and/or individuals the accolades we have been receiving to say thank you.  It’s worth every extra effort.
