Two men and a woman are facing multiple drug charges after a narcotics investigation and raid on a home in eastern Columbus.
George Munn, 75; Gyrel Munn, 53; and Tara Nobles, 34, were arrested July 30 after investigators with the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at 705 Hoover Road, Riegelwood.
In a press release, the CCSO said Vice/Narcotics investigators conducted extensive surveillance of the residence, which belongs to George Munn. Investigators located trafficking amounts of heroin/opium, as well as cocaine, methamphetamine, oxycodone, and marijuana. More than $9,000 in U.S. currency was also seized pursuant to the N.C. Unauthorized Substances Tax Act. George Munn, Gyrell Munn, and Tara Nobles were arrested.
Warrants show George Munn gave his address as 669 Hoover Rd. He was charged with two counts of trafficking in opiates; possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver cocaine, marijuana and methamphetamine; maintaining a dwelling for drug activities; maintaining a vehicle for drug activities; and possession of drug and marijuana paraphernalia.
Gyrell Munn was charged with possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver cocaine and marijuana, and possession of drug and marijuana paraphernalia. His address was listed as 1047 Graham Rd., Reigelwood.
Nobles gave her address as 7240 Oakview Dr., Leland. was charged with possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver cocaine and marijuana, and possession of drug and marijuana paraphernalia.
