WHITE LAKE—Richard “Sling” Shaw won this week’s Showdown at Sundown tournament at Goldston’s Putt-Putt Course.
Shaw won this week’s tournament with a -6 for the victory. Kyle Smith claimed second place at -5. Shaw took the win on the final hole with an ace while Smith bogeyed the 18th hole.
Katelyn Stephens won the first ever women’s bracket for this event with a +3. Next week’s event will take place at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday August 11. The winnings and sponsors for each contest grow each tournament.
This week’s sponsors were Nissan of Clinton, Vineyard Golf of White Lake, San Jose of White Lake, Tatum Realty, Arthur Rich, and McDuffie Pest Control.
