In Dublin, The West Bladen Knights remained undefeated for the season with a 5-1 victory over Hobbton on Monday. Diego Santos-Hernandez scored three goals for the “hat trick” to propel the Knights in the win.
The Knights are off to their best season ever at 6-0-1 on the year. West Bladen will travel to Union (0-7) on Wednesday. Hobbton (4-2) will go to Spivey’s Corner to face Midway (2-2) today (Sept. 1).
At Elizabethtown, East Bladen blanked South Columbus 9-0 on Monday. Andro Garcia and Ishaq Algozy both pulled off hat tricks of their own while teammate Landyn Scott scored two goals in the victory.
The Eagles (2-2-1) will host McKeel Christian Academy (NY) today. The Stallions fall to 0-9 on the year. They will travel to West Brunswick (3-0-1) on Wednesday.
In Pembroke, the Pack fell to Purnell Swett 1-0. Whiteville (1-3-3) will host Purnell Swett (5-2) in a rematch at home on Wednesday.
