Matthew Ward will speak Sunday through Tuesday. On Wednesday, which Youth Emphasis Night, American Idol Star Jordan McCullough will lead worship. Former 1% gang member and death row inmate Brian Lacroy will give his testimony and Glenn Walters will be preaching. Also on Wednesday, the first 400 students will get free pizza beginning at 5:30 p.m. There will be giveaways of iPods, and iPad, and Visa gift cards Wednesday during the service.
A baptismal service is also set for Wednesday.
“The Encounter Crusade is for men, women, boys, and girls of all ages, no matter who you are or where you come from,” said Rev. Dave Heller of the Columbus Baptist Association. “We just want to share the gospel of Jesus to anyone and everyone who will attend.”
