Contractors broke a water line in Columbus County District II today (Oct. 28), leading to a boil advisory from the area.
Affected areas include all customers from 3049 Andrew Jackson Highway Southwest to 4135 Andrew Jackson Highway Southwest; Grist Road; from 76 Old Stake Road to 506 Old Stake Road; Broadway Road; and Bullard Road, the county said in a press release.
Due to ongoing repairs and reversed flow in the lines, discoloration may occur. Customers are advised to boil all water for consumption for at least one minute for the next 24 hours.
