Here’s today’s Bottom Line
A sub-tropical ridge will progress slowly eastward and across the Southeast this week, then drift off the South Atlantic coast by next weekend. Largely seasonal temperatures will persist this upcoming
week with highs into the middle 70s through Wednesday.
A warming trend is favored late this week and weekend, where temperatures in the upper 70s to around 80 will be the norm. Thursday through Halloween.
As for rain chances, they are essentially none through Halloween. Some ensemble systems are indicating a chance next Sunday to early next week with perhaps a system building east from the Tennessee valley. But then, other solutions keep a ridge well in place with absolutely nothing into the first week of November.
Either way, drought conditions will worsen across the entire region.
Tropics: Nada, nothing, zilch.
