Multiple vehicles were involved in a crash in Whiteville Monday.
Kenneth Goben and Javier Pena were killed in the crash. Two other victims were airlifted to New Hanover Regional, according to the Whiteville Police. The wreck occurred at the intersection of Powell Boulevard and Washington Street.
Whiteville Police, the sheriff’s office, Highway Patrol, Whiteville Fire, Whiteville Rescue, and City of Whiteville Public works crew responded to the crash.
Traffic was partially detoured as roadblocks were set up a few blocks north near Fowler’s Jewelry.
