A Clarendon man allegedly threatened to mutilate a woman while sexually assaulting her last week.
Logan Andrew Williamson, 38, was charged with two counts each of sexual battery and assault on a female, along with communicating threats and false imprisonment. His bond was set at $15,000 secured. His address was listed as 363 Walter Todd Rd., Clarendon.
The sheriff’s office reported that the alleged attack occurred when the woman went to see a rental property Williamson had available. He reportedly pushed the woman onto a bed, grabbed her genitals, and held a pillow over her face during the assault. He allegedly injured her breast, and threatened to “cut her legs off,” according to the warrant.
Williamson is a registered sex offender, according to the State Bureau of Investigation database. He was convicted of kidnapping a minor in June 2004, and sentenced to 38 months in prison. He was released in December 2004, and required to maintain his registry for 10 years.
