Theatus Nance Wallace age 97 of Cerro Gordo went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at Shoreland Health Care in Whiteville.
She was the daughter of the late Arthur Wesley Nance Sr. and Elizabeth Campbell Nance. She was also preceded in death by two children, Barbara Jean Wallace and Charles Arthur Wallace; and four siblings, Mae Nance Osborne, William Martin Nance, Arthur Wesley Nance, Jr. and Thomas Edison Nance.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday June 5, 2024, at Worthington Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Moore officiating. Interment will follow in the Chadbourn Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday prior to the service at Worthington Funeral Home.
She is survived two daughters, Terri W. Fipps (Lynn) and Sandra Wallace (late Don Arnsan) both of Cerro Gordo; grandchildren, Kendra Ward Wells (Steve), Brent Wayne Milligan (Annie), Austin Charles Milligan, Dylan Mark Martin and Cody Lynn Fipps; great-grandchildren, Landon Wells, Matthew Wells and Liam Milligan.
The family requests that memorials be made to a favorite charity or church.
