Linda Faye Tyson Hilburn of Pinehurst, formerly of Cerro Gordo, passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2024 at Pinehurst Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center.
Linda was born on June 5, 1941 in Columbus County to the late Fred Franklin Tyson and Retha Walters. She was also preceded in death by her husband Rossie James Hilburn; a son Darryl Wayne Hilburn; and three siblings Jimmy Tyson (wife Shirley), Anita Tyson, and Brenda T. Ramsey.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday June 12, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Tyson Cemetery with Dr. David Vess officiating.
The family will speak to friends following the service at the cemetery.
Linda leaves behind her son Rick G. Hilburn of Dunn, NC.
