The sheriff’s office is still searching for leads in a missing persons case from April.

Shanna Perry, 35, disappeared April 26 from Delco Prosper Road. She was reportedly pregnant. Detectives, deputies and volunteers have scoured the Delco, Byrdville and Kelly areas looking for the missing woman.

Sherry Hall Spivey, Perry’s aunt, said the family just wants the woman home.

“Her mother needs closure,” Spivey said. “There have been so many false tips that it’s frustrating. Somebody knows something.”

The family is holding a cookout Saturday in hopes of keeping Perry’s case in the public eye. The gathering will be at noon in Riegelwood, at a place to be announced.

“We know somebody knows something,” Spivey said. “We’re hoping somebody will come forward with real information. We just want to bring Shanna home so we can bury her.”

To volunteer in the hunt for Shanna Perry, or for more information about the cookout, call 910.367.9318.

Anyone with information about Perry’s disappearance is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 910.642.6551.
