Someone took a footmarker from a grave off Peacock Road, according to a sheriff’s report.
Shonda Duncan contacted the Sheriff’s Office after discovering the marker missing over the weekend. The stone was taken from the grave of James “Little Mack” Duncan sometime after Aug. 31.
The report said that items were missing from a nearby grave prior to the latest theft.
The gray stone marker is engraved with the words “Daddy’s Pet,” the report said.
