Emily Sandlin has been charged with accessory in the May killing and disappearance of Shanna Perry.
Sandlin, 46, is being held under $10,000 secured bond. She is charged with communicating threats and being an accessory to the murder. Warrants allege that Sandlin knew her husband Lance had killed Perry on May 1, but concealed that evidence. The warrant notes that she was not present when the murder occurred. She was taken into custody around 3 p.m. Tuesday.
Lance Sandlin, 47, is being held under no bond on charges of murder and failure to pay child support. The couple gave the same address on court documents, 4868 Delco Prosper Road. The warrant for Lance Sandlin shows he worked at the “Battleship – Wilmington”. He was jailed Monday night.
Sandlin’s ex-wife, Lori Angel Flowers, 46, was arrested early Tuesday on a charge of being an accessory. Flowers gave her address as 942 Livingston Chapel Road. Her bond was set at $100,000. She was jailed early Tuesday morning.
Warrants show that Flowers helped cover up the murder, and prevented Perry from receiving medical assistance before her death.
Perry was pregnant when she disappeared from her Delco Propser Road home in May after leaving her youngest child with her mother. The warrants do not specify how Perry was killed.
A sheriff’s report shows that Perry allegedly attacked Flowers and Lance Sandlin when she found them together in a car at 4868 Delco Prosper Road in 2023. Perry was charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm, assault, and assault by pointing a gun.
Deputies, the State Bureau of Investigation and volunteers are continuing the search for Perry’s body in the Delco area.
