No one was injured when a Peacock Road home was destroyed by fire Tuesday.
The sheriff’s office reported that fire units were called to 15575 Peacock Road at 7:09 a.m. Cpl. Z. Moody of the sheriff’s office reported that a resident told investigators that the fire started due to an electric heater that ignited a resident’s bed.
Damages were estimated at $50,000. The fire is under investigation by Juhl and Det. J. Cartret of the sheriff’s office.
