Whiteville Police are investigating a shooting that occurred Thursday. The victim was injured at Kent Place Apartments in Whiteville, and transferred to Novant New Hanover, Wilmington. The investigation is ongoing.
No one was reported injured when someone opened fire on a home with ten people inside early Friday. The shooting on Sandlewood Road near Whiteville damaged the home. We have reached out to the Columbus County Sheriff’s office for more information.
There is a Blood Drive Scheduled on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at the Whiteville United Methodist Church located at 902 Pinckney St. Whiteville, NC from 2:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
