Phyllis Rowell, 75, of Whiteville, passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at Columbus Regional Healthcare System.
Phyllis was born on August 15, 1949, daughter of the late Nep Rowell and Almertine Barfield Rowell. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Susan Floyd Caines; grandson, Collin Caines and five siblings.
A celebration of life will be held at later date.
The surviving family includes her daughter, Audrey Floyd Hoover (Frank) of Tabor City; grandchildren, Brooke Walters (Denver), McKenzie Long (Nathan), Joseph Scott Long, Jr., and Jacob Caines; great-grandchildren, Leighton Walters and Oliver Martinez; brother, Gibson Rowell (Kathy) of Dillon, SC.
