The suspect in the murder of a Delco woman last year now faces a charge of killing her unborn child.
Lance Errington Sandlin IV, 47, of 4868 Delco Prosper Rd., was charged with murder of an unborn child Friday, according to court documents. Bond was set for that charge at $2 million, but Sandlin is being held under no bond for allegedly murdering Shania Perry.
Perry left her home walking on Livingston Chapel Road in April. She was pregnant at the time of her disappearance. Perry has never been seen again.
Family members, volunteers and law enforcement search throughout Delco, Prosper, Kelly and the Green Swamp for weeks searching for the woman’s body. The State Bureau of Investigation and Sheriff’s Office also searched several pieces property on Delco Prosper Road, but turned up no clues about the missing woman.
Sandlin allegedly killed Perry sometime between April 25 and May 1, 2024, and concealed her body, according to reports. Sandlin and his wife gave the same address in court documents.
Sandlin’s wife Emily was arrested in September and charged with communicating threats and being an accessory to murder.
Lori Angel Flowers, Sandlin’s ex-wife, was also charged as an accessory. She gave her address as 942 Livingston Chapel Road. Both women were held under secured bonds.
Flowers and Emily Sandlin allegedly helped hide the murder, and Flowers prevented Perry from obtaining medical care, according to warrants.
Perry and Sandlin had previously been romantically involved, according to reports. A sheriff’s report shows that Perry allegedly attacked Flowers and Lance Sandlin when she found them together in a car at 4868 Delco Prosper Road in 2023. Perry was charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm, assault, and assault by pointing a gun.
