A shoplifter allegedly assaulted two Dollar General employees May 8 before fleeing the scene.
The sheriff’s office reported that deputies were called to the Dollar General on Cronly Drive in Delco around 9:15 a.m.
Staff at the store said a woman entered the store and allegedly tried to shoplift several items, according to the report. When she was confronted by the employees, the report said the woman “became physically aggressive,” and shoved on of the workers while fleeing the store.
Outside, the report said the suspect used her Pontiac automobile to attempt to hit the other worker.
