Here’s today’s Bottom Line

Not an awful lot to talk about today, friends. Strong high pressure will take control of our weather, pumping tropical moisture northward from the Gulf. Hot and humid conditions will persist through at least Saturday afternoon. As per the graphic above, only isolated thunderstorm chances remain.

A weak “back door” cold front will drop southward into the area for Sunday morning, This may trigger a rumble of thunder Saturday night, but I doubt it. Temps will only be a degree or two cooler, but another, much stronger front, crosses the area Sunday night, bringing more dry weather and cooler temps.

That’s going to do it for today’s report. As always, thank you for reading and for supporting Columbus County News. Have a great day!
