August 2, 2013 ~ June 21, 2025 (age 11)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of William Luke Hanson, who entered into Heaven on June 21, 2025, following a battle with meningitis; he was 11 years old.
Luke was born in New Hanover County, on August 2, 2013.
A celebration of Luke’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at Grace Baptist Church of Wilmington. Luke will be laid to rest in the Chadbourn Memorial Cemetery, prior to the Celebration of Life service.
Luke leaves behind to cherish his memory, his parents, Eric Christopher Hanson & Emily Edwards Hanson of Wilmington; brother, Noah Hanson; maternal grandparents, Tim & Joy Edwards; paternal grandparents, Richard & Pam Hanson; host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and his loving ball-family, whom he loved and adored.
