Damages were estimated at $150,000 after fire swept through a home on Sandhole Road Tuesday.
Acme-Delco-Riegelwood Fire and Rescue Chief Steve Camlin said firefighters were called to the home at 906 Sandhole Road to a kitchen fire Tuesday morning. The fire was contained to one area, although the entire home sustained smoke damage. Camlin said there was extensive damage to the interior rafters and roof.
ADR was assisted by Lake Waccamaw, Northwest and Bolton. The cause of the fire is under investigation. No injuries were reported.
