Billy Malpass, Dan Salsbery, Willard Storms, and Scott Burchett won the Aug. 5 Southeastern Fellowship Golf Association Tournament at Land ‘O Lakes in Whiteville. They posted a score of 125.
Alick Mansfield, Jonny Wallace, Richard Tikkala, and Rick Hedgepeth took second with a 130. The teams of L.R. Odham, Breece Horton, John Blake, and Ray Crabtree, followed by Bradley Butler, Jerry Strickland, Bobby Gooden, and Richard Davis tied for third with a 131.

White Lake Golf Club Championship
Vineland Golf at White Lake recently had its two-day Club Championship.
In Championship Flight, Campbell White won for the second straight year with a two day score of 147 with gross score, and Walton Fisher took second with a gross score of 150. In the Open and Senior Flights, the scores were based on 50 percent of the player’s handicap and winners were determined by net scores.

Vineland Golf at White Lake held its weekly Thundering Herd on Aug. 7. The team of Anne Beyer, Mike Churcharz, Cooper Patrick, and Jeff Pope won with a seven under while the team of Pam Davis, Wilber Cox, Dawson Wright, and Richard Gillas took second with a -6 score.
