State and federal agents, working alongside the sheriff’s office, arrested an alleged child sex offender today (Monday).
The State Bureau of Investigation said Dusty Paul Matthews is being held under no bond, facing five counts of second degree sexual exploitation of a minor. His address was listed as Mill Branch Church Road, Tabor city, according to a statement from the SBI.
The SBI, Sheriff’s Office and Homeland Security executed a search warrant on Matthews’ home after “numerous cybertips” to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The Statement from the SBI said investigators seized “multiple items of evidence”.
This is a developing story.
