A Nakina shooting sent a man to jail Thursday.
Pasiano Esteban Hernandez, 38, of 12 Lexia Lane, Nakina, was charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and discharging a firearm inside a structure.
Warrants show he fired a 9mm handgun inside a home at 12 Lexie Lane while trying to shoot Ramon Pablo Hernandez. The victim was treated on the scene by EMS. The suspect fled the scene but was captured a short distance away.
Hernandez was held without bond pending a first appearance Monday.
