Offense Plagues EBHS
ELIZABETHTOWN– East Bladen’s boys basketball team continued dealing with its problem of creating offense as the Eagles fall to North Brunswick 68-31.
Three of the four quarters, the Eagles failed to score in double figures, which usually spells doom for a basketball team in high school. After trailing by five after the first quarter, East Bladen put up 14 points in the second to only trail by nine 29-20 at the half. The offense shut down in the second half, only scoring 11 points. North Brunswick scored 39 on its way to the 68-31 final score.
Jack Baker led the Scorpions (4-1) in scoring with 22 points. Keyshawn Kemp had eight points for the Eagles in the loss. East Bladen (0-3) will travel to Heide Trask (3-1) on Dec. 5.

Eagles Girls win 41-28
ELIZABETHTOWN—East Bladen blew open a tight game at halftime to defeat North Brunswick 41-28 in girls basketball Tuesday night.
Sana’a Singletary led the Eagles with 21 points scoring 11 of them in the third quarter to expand a two point lead to 35-22 at the end of the third quarter.
East Bladen (4-0) never trailed in the contest. Aaliyah Monroe pitched in 13 points for the Scorpions in the loss. East Bladen travels to Heide Trask Friday.
