Three Charged in Phone, Pistol Theft

Three suspects were jailed Tuesday after the allegedly assaulted a man and took his phone and a handgun.

James Huggins,  Jacob Nathaniel Spivey and Natasha Leann Brooks were held under secured bonds, charged with assault with a deadly weapon, conspiracy and common law robbery.

In court documents, Spivey, 24; Higgins, 18; and Brooks, 31, all listed the same address as 515 Todd Town Rd., Clarendon.

They are alleged to have conspired to assault and rob Owen Trent Fowler. The victim was beaten with a stick and kicked repeatedly in the head, according to warrants. The suspect then took a PSA dagger handgun and an iPhone 17.
