The Columbus County Solid Waste Department said the following temporary revisions to the GFL trash collection schedule this week due to the winter storm.
Residents who normally receive service on:

Tuesday will have pickup on Wednesday

Wednesday will have pickup on Thursday

Thursday will have pickup on Friday

Friday will have pickup on Saturday
Residents who normally receive trash service on Mondays will have their next scheduled pickup on Monday, as usual. GFL has advised that any additional household trash that accumulated during the past week may be placed beside the container and will be collected at that time.
Residents are reminded to place trash containers by the roadway the night before their scheduled pickup to ensure service.
