A State Trooper was killed in a single vehicle crash in Robeson County early today (Sunday).
Master a trooper Stien Davis Jr. was on duty when he lost control of his vehicle on N.C. 130, according to a press release from the Patrol. His vehicle left the roadway and overturned in a swampy area.
“Master Trooper Davis was a member of the 141st Basic Patrol School and served our state and the Robeson County area with distinction,” NCSHP Col. Freddy Johnson said. Davis began serving with the Patrol in 2017.
The crash is under investigation. Arrangements are incomplete at this time.
