Juvenile petitions have been sought against a masked juvenile who was allegedly pulled door handles at several homes in Cerro Gordo.
The sheriff’s office said deputies were contacted Feb. 27 about the youth. A person matching the same description, wearing a mask and hoodie, went to several homes and allegedly tugged on doors of homes. In one case the suspect spent time walking around the home and under a carport. The suspect fled when confronted by the homeowner.
Deputies found a teen matching the description of the suspect on Railroad Street East. The residents advised that they wanted to press charges, and the youth was released to a guardian, pending juvenile petitions.
